The Secret of Yellow

I just finished watching the Futurama episode “The Luck of the Fryrish” from season 3.  It was really a sweet & very touching episode, and you didn’t know it until the end.  I just loved how they turned it around at the end.  It was such an awesome and wonderful surprise :)

I found pics on the internet from the episode, and I wanted to put them up in order.

After reading the part of the tombstone that was covered by moss, we get a flashback of Yancy naming his newborn son.  I included the scene/dialogue below:

Yancy’s wife is holding the baby, rocking in the rocking chair.

WIFE: So, had any ideas for names, Yancy?

YANCY: Nn, I’m sorta thinking one..

(His wife hands him the baby)

YANCY: (to his son) Daddy has a present for you today, do you know what it is?  It’s a lucky clover that can help you be successful, whatever you do, even breakdancing.  And it once belonged to someone very special.

WIFE: I know what name you wanna give him, Yancy.  It’s okay.

YANCY: Really?  Son, I’m naming you Philip J. Fry, in honor of my little brother, who I miss every day.  I love you Philip.  (sniffs) And I always will.

Yancy kisses his son Philip on the cheek, who then giggles.

We see the writing on the tombstone as Fry realizes:
